A well appointed suite that you could easily live in for some time. Clean and comfortable 1 bedroom suite with a full kitchen, living room, dining room table, office area and in-room washer and dryer (which we really needed and appreciated), as well as a porch with two tables. The view was breathtaking. Just never tired of it. Located just south of city center for easy access to town as well as Route 1 that leads to all major sights. We loved downtown Canmore with great coffee shops, restaurants and shops and enjoyed exploring there. We are happy we chose to stay here instead of Banff since my husband is unable to walk too far and we were able to move around this area way easier than in Banff, which is very crowded (but definitely worth seeing). Parking is underneath the hotel. There is plenty but can be a little tight, something we experienced at several properties. Surrounding the town are magnificent mountains. Just beautiful.

I had an incredible weekend stay at the Blackstone Hotel! The service here is truly unbelievable. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with courtesy and warm smiles, making me feel right at home. They were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The location of the hotel is perfect, offering an amazing view of the Three Sisters Mountains. It's a sight to behold! I must commend Ruby at the front desk. She was the epitome of professionalism, easy to deal with, and incredibly comprehensive. Her super-friendly attitude made my experience even more enjoyable. In fact, this has become my go-to place, and I've returned multiple times, never once being disappointed. The pool and amenities at the Blackstone Hotel are truly top-notch, setting a high benchmark for other hotels to follow. Overall, my weekend getaway here was absolutely fantastic, thanks to the exceptional service, courtesy, and perfect location. I can't wait to return!

Blackstone was very clean and very close to ROAM transit. Housekeeping was spectacular. From Benchland Overpass Trail (a really short walk), on Bus #3, we could go to Banff: $3. Senior, $6. Adult. That’s a bargain considering that parking in Banff is usually unattainable. Why bother? Also, just below us (another 5 minute walk), we could take Bus 5C right into Canmore. ROAM transit offers tourists the best deal possible. No park. No paying to park. Our one bedroom apartment was perfect. On the first floor, our patio seemed private. We looked across the rocks to Kananaskis Trail, which we used to get to Bus #3. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the underground parking, and the amenities.

Location, facilities and staff. We were on a road trip with our son and booked three days. Unfortunately our son had two medical emergencies which resulted in two ambulance trips and two hospital visits. Every single member of staff was so thoughtful and helpful making sure someone was with us whilst we waited for the ambulance, checking up on us and him, extending our stay when we had to be near the hospital for a couple of days including sorting us out with a night at their sister lodge when they didn’t have room. It was a really comfortable place for our son to convalesce too. Thanks to everyone involved.

This was a condo-style accomodation with a beautiful, full kitchen. It was spotless and we had a very lovely, spacious unit, with plush towels, gas fireplace and good coffee (supplied). We enjoyed the outdoor pool (very warm) and hot tub while there. Parking was very easy. I highly recommend Blackstone Mountain Lodge, especially if staying an extended period of time as the kitchen would be great to have. A short/easy drive into downtown Canmore and not far from the epic ski mountains and we also enjoyed Canmore Nordic Center, which is also close by.
